What are the civil rights of all Romani's in America and can they be acheive?

It's estimated that there are one million Romani people in the United States. Though the Romani population in the United States has largely assimilated into American society, there is a noticeable concntration of Romani Oregon with lesser significant concentrations in Main, WashingtonNew Jersey, Utah and West Virginia and American Romani communities can be found in most major metropolitan areas. The Romani people are protcted under the Constitution of America, just like the other ethnic goups in America.

Pushing for a Class Action Law suit

As someone who's been wronged, you might feel that the world out there feels bigger during tough times. When you're just one person who's trying to restore justice to a small group of people, it might appear like an overwhelming task. But one tool at our disposal - the class action lawsuit - is often an effective way to put the legal system back on your side and make things "right" when you might not have been making them right through any other means available to you.

 

Let's define a class action lawsuit before we go any further. A class is a lawsuit that is filed not only for one party, but for a group of people or even a group of businesses. Essentially, a class action lawsuit is one that a group of people undertake, even though they may have their own individual grievances with the defendant.

Determination to erase all negative stereo types about our race, around the world.

One can find so much negative remarks and websites about the Romani people, one such website is the www.policemag.com, here are a few sentence's . " Gypsies: King Of Cons", "Solid police work will help to knock  the crown from the heads of these accomplished crooks."  "Nobody cares! Not the bosses, not the prosecutors or even many judges. They don't want to here about it...until it happens to them, their family or a big-wig.". These types of comments by law enforcement will only strenghen the negative thoughts about our people.

Justice for one, justice for all

Almost every minority group in America has a civil right group or representative, African American has N.A.A.C.P, the Jewish community has JCPA - Jewish Council For Public Affairs, Italian Americans has the Italian-American Civil Rights League, Gay American has LGBT-Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender rights and many other civil rights groups.

We as Romani Americans need our voice's heard and accountant for.  We need the A.R.C.R.G. "American Romani Civil Right Group" to be formed and take a stand.
